DevOps Engineer Azure Baseline Clearance Sydney / Canberra / Adelaide
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact digital transformation within a federal agency. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to design implement and maintain secure and automated CI/CD pipelines and Azure infrastructure. This role supports the agencys shift toward modern cloud platforms and agile delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to deliver secure resilient and automated solutions.
- Design implement and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines repositories and artefacts.
- Deploy and manage cloud resources with a focus on automation and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational issues collaboratively.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Support continuous delivery across build test deploy and production environments.
- Promote and implement DevSecOps best practices and process improvements.
Key Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps including pipelines repos and release automation.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps CI/CD and cloud automation.
- Proven expertise in managing Azure resources such as App Services and Functions.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using ARM Bicep or Terraform.
- Application development background in .NET Core and .NET Framework.
- Familiarity with GIT version control and branching strategies.
- Skilled in producing technical documentation with Microsoft Visio.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certifications in Azure cloud infrastructure or DevOps tools are highly regarded.
