D365 Test Lead- Sydney
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to oversee manual testing activities for a new Dynamics 365 Sales CRM implementation. The role will focus on validating business-critical features across lead and opportunity management contact and account management and enquiry handling to support Future Student Recruitment (FSR) workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end test planning and defect management for a new Dynamics 365 Sales CRM instance.
- Collaborate with business analysts developers and stakeholders to ensure full coverage of business requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies test plans and test cases for manual testing.
- Oversee test and guide junior testers where applicable.
- Validate core CRM functions including:
- Lead to Opportunity Management
- Contact and Account (Organisation) Management
- Enquiry Management for Future Student Recruitment
- Conduct functional integration regression and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure traceability of test cases to business and functional requirements.
- Log track and retest defects using appropriate tools (e.g. Azure DevOps JIRA).
- Participate in go-live readiness and post-deployment verification.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in manual testing with recent experience in leading test efforts.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales CRM) and business processes such as lead/opportunity lifecycle and contact/account management.
- Experience in CRM testing involving workflows custom forms views and user roles.
- Proficiency in test management tools like Azure DevOps or TestRail.
- Experience with structured testing methodologies and defect management practices.
- Strong analytical communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary project teams.
Desirable
- Prior experience testing in education or recruitment domain
- Exposure to Future Student Recruitment or CRM-based enquiry handling
- ISTQB or similar testing certification
