ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Enterprise Technology Architect to support a large government agencys digital transformation. Youll play a key role in designing and delivering modern scalable and reusable technology solutions to align with a product-based operating model. This position will influence technology selection support architecture strategy and lead the integration of enterprise systems using contemporary cloud and low-code technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Business Architect to shape future-state technology architecture
Lead the evaluation and selection of fit-for-purpose digital technologies
Provide architectural oversight and leadership to teams delivering data integration and low-code platforms
Define reusable solution patterns to accelerate delivery
Work with delivery teams to implement design standards and government best practices
Produce high-quality documentation and progress reports
Ensure technology outcomes are cost-effective sustainable and aligned with business goals
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Relevant degree in Information Technology Digital Systems or a related field
Proficiency in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF Zachman or Australian Government Architecture Framework (AGAF)
Demonstrated experience in major digital government programs
Strong background in cloud-based architecture RESTful APIs and composable systems
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to influence stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
Understanding of agile delivery reusability and integration principles
ELIGIBILITY
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Ability to obtain or hold a government security clearance (Baseline or above)
