- Temporary full-time opportunity up to June 2026 (Parental Leave cover)
- Office location Parramatta other NSW locations negotiable
- Salary relative to experience and ranges from $110266 to $122058 super
The role
The Communications Officer provides specialist expertise to develop distribute and manage a range of communications content for interment sector operators customers stakeholders and the public to expand the organisations regulatory presence and reach.

What you will bring to the role
- Experience in creating engaging communications content to meet the wide-ranging information needs of internal and external stakeholders and contributing to communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Strong understanding of website and social media channels ensuring that content is current and accurate and meets stakeholder needs.
- Ability to communicate clearly in relation to complex issues with strong written verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
- Considerable planning and organisational ability in particular the ability to assess the importance and urgency of tasks in relation to competing interests and timelines.
- Experience in cemeteries is highly regarded.
What is an essential requirement:
- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent knowledge skills and experience in communications engagement with varying stakeholders communities or related disciplines.
