Description

We currently have anopportunity for a Range Manager. Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in supporting the Defence Contract for delivery of Estate Maintenance and Operations Services (EMOS) to the Department of Defence QLD and SNSW Regions. Reporting to Operations Manager youllhelp deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What Youll Do

This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:

  • Ensure the safety of range staff and conduct Range Safety Briefings.
  • Support the conduct Range Maintenance via work orders and facilitate safe movement onto and off the Range Area.
  • Adhere to safety of staff safety policies when supporting Defence Exercises.
  • Administer the quote and capture requirements for TARM reactive work using Defence Protective Network and Downer IT assets.
  • Maintain data to aid in compiling reports on TARM activities and forecasting.

What Youll Bring

  • Must have or capable of attending Fire Qualifications in Wildfire Response and Suppression.
  • Must have or capable of attaining a workplace first aid qualification to National Certificate Level 2 standard AIIMS advance training up to Incident Control.
  • Must have or capable of attaining current operator licences for all range vehicles and equipment.
  • Ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
  • Experience in working on the ranges or the provision of a range management would be highly recommended.
