Job Description
Satellite Industries is looking to grow our team with talented Production Technicians. Competitive pay. Hours: Monday - Thursday 40 hours a week. Overtime as required.
Position Summary:
The Production Technician works with materials to create a finished product for commercial or industrial use.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate processing equipment so that the product meets customer product and mix instruction specifications.
- Follow all process control procedures and work instructions.
- Understand and comply with procedures regarding possible chemical reactions.
- Follow production work order instructions.
- Labeling of containers to meet customer specifications and federal regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment for 5S compliance.
- General clean up duties; sweeping squeegee floors cleaning process equipment and work areas assigned.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Understand and adhere to company quality standards.
- Understand and follow all safety rules and company policies.
- Understand all work instructions for this position.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Proper use of PPE.
No formal supervisory role.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- This position prefers a High school diploma/GED
- 1 year of chemical production and/or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and chemical labels.
- Technical Capacity.
- Ethical Conduct.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and be self-directed while remaining a team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent Decision-Making skills.
Physical/Mental Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:
The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters inc/Satellite Industries Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including but not limited to a candidates qualifications skills competencies experience location and end client requirements).
