Job Description
Position Summary
The Controller is a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of a multi-entity organization including a national restoration franchising brand two operational franchise units a land management company and two emerging businesses. The Controller leads financial planning reporting risk management and funding strategy to support growth and scalability across the portfolio.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership across all six business entities.
- Lead budgeting forecasting and financial modeling activities.
- Implement and maintainconsolidated financial reporting and dashboards.
- Optimize cash flow working capital and capital allocation across the portfolio.
- Lead banking relationships credit facilities insurance and investment strategies
- Evaluate financial performances of franchiseeand support sustainable growth of the franchising model.
- Oversee accounting operations audits and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability and efficiency through data and KPIs
- Manage and develop finance team members to support business needs and succession planning.
- Support franchise expansion and new business development.
- Manage to GAAP principles and provide accounting views for Tax Managerial and Investors.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in finance Accounting or related field (MBA Preferred)
- CPA
- 7-10 years of experience in a senior finance role; multi-entity or franchise experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP forecasting budgeting and financial modeling.
- Proven success in implementing scalable financial systems and controls
- Experience in working with private equity investors or lenders.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency (example: QuickBooks NetSuite Sage etc.)
- Qvinci experience preferred reporting consolidator of QuickBooks.
$140000 - $160000 a year
