Director Information Technology

Quantitative Engineering Solutions Development

As the development manager supporting our quantitative engineering program you will be responsible for the forward advancement of applications and the teams that support security risk analytics portfolio analytics risk reporting applications and a broad array of proprietary solutions to support portfolio management and clients. This role will drive the application development strategy spearhead the transition to new technologies manage teams and ensure that service delivery is of the highest quality. You will help the team accelerate delivery of critical features and functionality while making material contributions to technical modernization initiatives. Were looking for candidates with extensive knowledge of fixed income equities derivative products alternatives portfolio construction performance attribution and machine learning. Your leadership experience in building high-performance teams will be critical to our future success.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with portfolio managers risk managers financial engineers and client service professionals to develop solutions that advance our risk platform capabilities
• Lead the strategy design and deployment of applications that support that support Risk Management & Analytics model development
• Manage a global team of engineers building and supporting risk applications
• Provide production support and system analysis across risk reporting performance measurement scenario analysis and stress testing functions
• Work effectively with our infrastructure engineering teams to implement software solutions with high degrees of scalability and resiliency
• Play a key role contributing to cloud transformation initiatives and overall application architecture strategy
• Mentor and grow team members across IT

Experience:

• 10 years of experience building risk systems with a strong knowledge of analytics trading instruments and asset management principles
• Masters/Bachelors degree in Financial Engineering Mathematics Computer Science or a comparable program
• Strong knowledge and high degree of proficiency in a variety of programming languages (Python Julia Scala R C Matlab SQL Cloud computing etc.)
• Experience with a broad set of database technologies and storage solutions (Oracle Snowflake Databricks SingleStore S3 etc.)
• Experience with Kafka Flink Jenkins Kubernetes Docker GitHub and CICD tools is a plus
• Experience with public cloud implementation and services
• Experience directing and managing globally distributed resources
• Excellent communication skills
