Job Purpose
- To lead the delivery of high-quality impartial Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) services for adult learners ensuring compliance with quality standards such as the Matrix accreditation and supporting progression into learning and employment. The role also includes responsibility for preparing for audits and contributing to the strategic development of IAG provision.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Develop and manage impartial IAG provision to support learner progression.
- Ensure quality assurance procedures are implemented and maintained including preparation for Matrix re-accreditation.
- Track learner outcomes and progression maintaining accurate records and data.
- Deliver one-to-one and group careers guidance sessions including CV support and job search skills.
- Provide up-to-date Labour Market Information and attend relevant events and training.
- Undertake outreach work and build partnerships with community groups and external organisations.
- Contribute to the development of IAG-related publicity materials and learner communications.
- Support the planning and delivery of open days and IAG events.
- Monitor and report on performance against targets and objectives.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience with development of IAG-related publicity materials and learner communications is essential.
Essential Qualification Required
- General education or qualification in the related field is essential.
