Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Landscaping responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Crew Leaders on all aspects of landscape grounds management services.
- Digging planting raking watering and cleaning of landscapes.
- Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
- Collect company-owned equipment and tools at the end of the day.
- May be asked to help in other divisions such as installation or floriculture as needed.
- May be asked to help with snow removal in winter months.
Safe operation of the following landscaping equipment:
Commercial Equipment Operation
Push Mowers Walk-Behind Mowers Zero Turn Stand on Mowers and Zero Turn Riding Mowers
Tillers Aerators Seeders.
Commercial Hand Tools
Weed Eaters Edgers Combi Units Chainsaws Hedge Trimmers Backpack Blowers Backpack Sprayers
Hand tools such as shovels picks rakes and pruning tools.

Pay/Benefits Package
- $15 - $19 hourly pay

Required Skills
Requirements
*Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a routine basis
*Ability to bend and stoop continually
*Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
*Ability to work around bees poison ivy pollen thorns and other environmental risks
*Must be able to work with minimal supervision
*Must wear sturdy shoes company uniforms and assigned PPE
*Must present yourself in a professional polite manner
*Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment
*Must wear company-provided eye and ear protection as required
*Must have a valid state drivers license and maintain a good driving record (CDL preferred)
*Must be able to pass a criminal background check
*Must be willing to obtain a state pesticide applicator license (if available).
*Must have good communication skills and ability to motivate others
*Must comply with Blands policies and procedures
*Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
