.Customer Service Representative is responsible for performing office support and/or secretarial duties for the Monroe County Health Department such as composing and word processing and working correspondence relaying and resolving routine telephone and/or walk-in inquires scheduling appointments attending staff meetings and/or trainings processing forms data entry and establishing and maintaining records. The Customer Service Representative will work under the general supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor.
Job Duties
High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting are required.

Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.
DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree diploma licensure etc.
The candidate selected for this position may be subject to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
Relocation assistance will not be provided.
