LTN is hiring a Broadcast Production Engineer that will play an integral part in delivering high quality IP broadcasts of live sports and entertainment at scale. Working days/hours can vary and are centered around live-broadcast schedules. You will work out of LTNs state of the art control rooms in our facility located in Liberty Missouri. Relocation assistance can be provided.
Job Overview / Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for broadcast engineering operations at LTNs Facility in Liberty MO.
- Maintain implement troubleshoot and operate technical systems used to broadcast live sports games and entertainment to millions of viewers worldwide.
- Track and report on equipment and system repair and maintenance status.
- Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the production control rooms.
- Follow through on repairs inventory needs and updates.
- Interface with clients and other LTN engineering and production staff to provide a high level of service and support.
Skills/Experience:
- 2 - 5 years experience in broadcast engineering or related positions however a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast technology equipment and remote production.
- Familiarity with audio AoIP production switcher graphics scoring data intercom (RTS/Reidel) and other systems used in television facilities.
- Must be willing and able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that coincides with live broadcasts.
Desired Experience (not required):
- Experience with remote control of equipment via IP/ssh.
- Demonstrated understanding of IP networking principles (multicast QoS IGMP) IP video workflows (SMPTE ST 2110) PTP (Precision Time Protocol) synchronization and related protocols such as NMOS IS-04/05 for device discovery and connection management.
- Audinate Dante Level 3 certification.
- Associates or Technical degree in Electronics or Engineering field.
