What Youll Do:

At Post Health Home Care we strive to embody our mission of delivering hope and healing to those we serve. As a Chaplain youll engage in a range of exciting responsibilities including:

• Provides spiritual support for inpatients outpatients relatives of patients and staff members.
• Empathizes and prays with the ill the dying patients and their families.
• Provides for follow-up visits as needed.
• Confers with medical and nursing staff in regards to the spiritual needs of patients.
• Partners with the broader community to meet spiritual and emotional needs.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to the sacramental and spiritual needs of patients families staff and community.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree or equivalent in a theological discipline such as theology pastoral ministry or related field. Successful completion of at least four units of approved Clinical Pastoral Education.
• Three years pastoral experience and at least one year experience in a health care setting
• NACC Certification of Standing/Affiliation with NACC - CHAPLAIN or APC board certified chaplain BCC-APC.
