Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Duty
Percent of Time
Rounds on staff to provide emotional and spiritual support
10%
Assess patients families and team members spiritual needs; assists them in using their faith in dealing with illness trauma stress and loss; and documents services provided.
50%
Provide compassionate and responsive spiritual services to the patients in alignment with departmental and organizational objectives including visitation reading listening and prayer support.

Support team members with their resiliency and compassion development

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree
Experience:
Experience in pastoral care previous experience working with children preferred
License/Certification/Credential:
Solid standing in a faith community preferred 2 units of CPE

Bethany Childrens Health Center is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma.
