Job Description
Spero Health is seeking a Counselor/Social Worker to join our awesome team!
This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of Saving Lives Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling case management and medically assisted treatment. **This role will be 2 days onsite and 3 days remote covering both our Dickson and Columbia clinics**
The Counselor/Social Workers responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
- Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
- Provide patient education.
- Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
- Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
- Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPPA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.
LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EDUCATION EDUCATION:
- Masters degree in Social Work Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy and/or Substance Abuse Treatment
LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting AND Masters Degree in behavioral science as defined above.
License:
- LADAC II LCSW LMSW LMFT LPC-MHSP or LPC-MHSP Temp
