Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

- Contract: Permanent Term Time Only (39 weeks)
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:30am 3:30pm)
- Salary:per annum (Scale 6 Point 18 20 inclusive) subject to April 2025 pay award

The Role:
A reputable West London special school seeks compassionate dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support children and young people aged 4 19 with Autism and complex Special Educational Needs. As a valuable member of the classroom support team you will contribute to creating a positive and tailored learning experience for the pupils. Whether you have experience in mainstream or specialist settings this role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Your responsibilities will include assisting teaching staff with lesson delivery implementing pupil-specific learning strategies providing personal care if necessary and promoting independence and positive wellbeing in learners. Each day presents unique challenges that contribute to the long-term development of these exceptional pupils.

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths typically at grade C/4 or above. A-Level qualifications or a university degree desirable, especially in education or relevant subjects.
