Job Description
Job Summary
Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church Eurekaa Catholic school committed to academic excellence and faith formation is seeking a dedicated and qualified Long-Term Substitute Teacher to provide instruction and maintain a supportive classroom environment during a teachers extended leave of absence. The ideal candidate will uphold the mission and values of Catholic education while ensuring continuity in learning.
Job Responsibilities
Provide daily instruction based on existing lesson plans or develop appropriate plans aligned with curriculum and Catholic values.
Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning respect and discipline.
Foster spiritual academic and personal growth among students.
Collaborate with faculty staff and administration as needed.
Communicate effectively with students parents and school leadership.
Administer and grade assignments quizzes and tests.
Attend school events or meetings when necessary.
Uphold and model Catholic values and teachings.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (required).
Valid teaching credential or substitute teaching permit (state-specific).
Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience preferred.
Practicing Catholic or respectful of Catholic teachings and culture.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
