Position: Manager/ - Ticketing & Visa Operations
Oversee and ensure the seamless issuance of tickets and efficient visa processing within the defined TAT. Execute all requests with strict adherence to SOPs maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Proactively identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities such as ancillary services to maximize revenue while delivering exceptional service quality.
Roles and Responsibilities-
Manage and oversee the operational activities of the corporate travel department ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Utilize GDS software (Galileo/Amadeus) to handle air ticketing for both international and domestic travel.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients understanding their travel needs and providing personalized service.
Coordinate and book flights and other travel arrangements according to client preferences and budgetary constraints.
Ensure compliance with corporate travel policies and negotiate favorable rates with airlines and other travel suppliers.
Stay updated on industry trends airline regulations and travel-related technology to provide the most up-to-date information to clients.
Assist clients with visa processing requirements providing basic knowledge and guidance throughout the application process.
Handle and resolve any issues or complaints related to travel bookings ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with the finance department to manage billing invoicing and financial reporting for corporate travel accounts.
Monitor and analyze travel data and expenses identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing reports to management.
Train and mentor team members ensuring their professional development and adherence to company standards.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers negotiating contracts and ensuring the best possible service for clients.
Keep track of travel industry regulations including travel advisories visa requirements and safety protocols and communicate them to clients and team members
Required skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in corporate travel management with a strong focus on air ticketing using GDS software (Galileo/Amadeus).
In-depth knowledge of international and domestic travel booking processes including flight hotel and car rental reservations.
Familiarity with visa processing procedures and basic knowledge of visa requirements.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle corporate clients travel needs with professionalism and efficiency.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to secure favorable rates and services from travel suppliers.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lead and motivate the team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients team members and travel suppliers.
A keen eye on details for accuracy.
Strong work ethics.
Knowledge of travel industry regulations including airline policies travel advisories and safety protocols.
Bachelors degree in Tourism or a related field as well as IATA Certification.
