JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State University Libraries is seeking a dynamic individual to assist with the Patent & Trademark Resource Center (PTRC). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who is enthusiastic about supporting both new and existing PTRC programs. This is a part-time position expected to work 20 hours per week on a regular schedule aligned with PTRC programming needs meaning some evening and weekend work may be required. The position requires in-person attendance and is based at the Physical and Mathematical Sciences Library in Davey Lab. The hourly rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.
Job responsibilities:
Assist with the Patent & Trademark Resource Center programs.
Create social media content that highlights PTRC events intellectual property updates and intellectual property resources.
Support the development of outreach assets for the PTRC.
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and process-oriented mindset.
