Built is seeking a full-timeFacilities Coordinator for our Nashville TN office. The Facilities Coordinator sits within Builts Operations team supporting the overall workplace experience and helping ensure a smooth functional and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. Youll work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across People IT and Workplace Experience playing a vital role in keeping our day-to-day operations running efficiently. Youll be responsible for managing vendors tracking supply needs coordinating maintenance and deliveries and ensuring the office is running smoothly. Were looking for a resourceful and highly organized individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of Builts headquarters.
This is a hands-on role with high visibility across the company. Youll be instrumental in creating a workspace that reflects Builts culture and keeps things humming behind the scenes. This role is an important part of the engine that powers our in-office culture and operational excellence. Youll have the opportunity to contribute to an engaged productive workplace that reflects Builts values and commitment to creating an exceptional employee experience. This role is required to be onsite 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all office vendors and service providers including janitorial pest control HVAC recycling and secure waste disposal
- Monitor office supplies and consumables for restrooms kitchens coffee bars and meeting roomsplace timely orders through Amazon Instacart or vendor portals
- Manage vendor service schedules and access including coordinating building entry for vendors without badges
- Support workplace logistics including badge creation mail sorting office nameplates and internal event prep
- Coordinate weekly and monthly food programs and beverage services
- Track recurring orders and contracts escalate vendor issues and maintain vendor contact records
- Monitor the facilities Jira queue assign requests and communicate updates to employees
- Assist with shipping receiving and mail distribution for HQ and executive offices
- Serve as backup support for ad hoc operational needs and projects related to space supplies and employee experience
- Partner with other teams on projects like event planning space reconfigurations or team onboarding
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating office operations or facilities logistics in a corporate environment
- Ability to manage vendors contracts and recurring services across multiple categories
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace Jira and online ordering systems (Amazon Instacart)
- Strong organizational and time management skillsable to juggle daily weekly and monthly tasks effectively
- Ability to be onsite 5 days a week
- Proactive and detail-orientedyou anticipate needs before they arise
- Friendly professional communicator who builds rapport with vendors and teammates alike
- Reliable and solutions-focused under pressure
- Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally
- Enjoys creating structure and smoothing out friction in others day-to-day experience
Builts salary range for this position is $45000-$60000 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role; therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Builts total compensation package for employees.
