Job Description
Little nationally recognized as a Best Firm to Work For and one of the nations most progressive design firms is seeking an Interiors Project Manager with a passion for high quality design interior architecture and a positive collaborative work style for our Workplace Interiors Studio in our Newport Beach CA Office.
Responsibilities include:
- Cultivation and stewardship of strong client relationships
- Project Management with the ability to manage and lead complicated design projects and/or multiple projects efficiently and successfully as well as to work as a team member on project design teams;
- Leading strong client relationships;
- Participate in or lead programming and pre-planning design analysis;
- Develop and execute design solutions including space planning design development construction documents and detailing for interior architecture projects;
- Provide drawing coordination and technical oversight for project activities with clients consultants contractors and staff;
- Application of problem solving skills to better collaborate with contractors designers consultants clients and end-users;
- Perform site inspections review shop drawings and material submittals and other related construction administration tasks; and
- Mentor/coach less experienced staff.
- Handles client budgets schedules and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
- Estimates fees determines scope of work and prepares proposals and contracts
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited university;
- 5 years of experience;
- NCIDQ or NCARB Certification preferred;
- Workplace expertise and workplace industry leadership;
- Excellent presentation drawing and sketching skills;
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) organizational and project management skills;
- Proficiency in Revit / Microsoft Suite (Other design related programs are a plus);
- Thorough knowledge of commercial project design including constructability project costs building codes furniture systems and workplace design; and
- Motivated self-starter and works well in a collaborative environment.
- ***Anticipated salary range for this position: $95000 - $120000; based on experience level.
