Job Description

Little nationally recognized as a Best Firm to Work For and one of the nations most progressive design firms is seeking an Interiors Project Manager with a passion for high quality design interior architecture and a positive collaborative work style for our Workplace Interiors Studio in our Newport Beach CA Office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cultivation and stewardship of strong client relationships
  • Project Management with the ability to manage and lead complicated design projects and/or multiple projects efficiently and successfully as well as to work as a team member on project design teams;
  • Leading strong client relationships;
  • Participate in or lead programming and pre-planning design analysis;
  • Develop and execute design solutions including space planning design development construction documents and detailing for interior architecture projects;
  • Provide drawing coordination and technical oversight for project activities with clients consultants contractors and staff;
  • Application of problem solving skills to better collaborate with contractors designers consultants clients and end-users;
  • Perform site inspections review shop drawings and material submittals and other related construction administration tasks; and
  • Mentor/coach less experienced staff.
  • Handles client budgets schedules and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
  • Estimates fees determines scope of work and prepares proposals and contracts

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited university;
  • 5 years of experience;
  • NCIDQ or NCARB Certification preferred;
  • Workplace expertise and workplace industry leadership;
  • Excellent presentation drawing and sketching skills;
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) organizational and project management skills;
  • Proficiency in Revit / Microsoft Suite (Other design related programs are a plus);
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial project design including constructability project costs building codes furniture systems and workplace design; and
  • Motivated self-starter and works well in a collaborative environment.
  • ***Anticipated salary range for this position: $95000 - $120000; based on experience level.
