Job Description
WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:
- Supervising the day-to-day operations of a busy catering environment focusing on team members roles
- Support daily operations
- Monitoring the training needs of the team and supporting where needed
- Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets standards required and company and client information
- Work with the Location Managers budgets; achieve and maintain Health & Safety and Food Standards in accordance with the budget and standards of BaxterStorey
- Develop and evolve all clients services at the location ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented
- Complete weekly stock takes
- Take and manage event bookings where required
- Assist with opening and closing procedures. Ensure that all units are prepared for daily operations and securely closed at the end of the day.
- Handle cash and banking.
Qualifications :
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- You thrive on getting the best out of people and maximising commercial opportunities
- You draw satisfaction from managing training and supporting a team
- You provide a professional catering service ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met
- Have experience in a Supervisor role ideally in contract catering or hospitality
- Good understanding of report writing and financial management.
- Possess excellent supervisory and communication skills
- Good delegation and influencing skills
- Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem-solving
- Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
- Must have good written and spoken English
