Job Title: Site Supervisor / Foreman (Civil Construction)
Pay Rate: $46.50 $49.00/hour

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring an experienced Site Supervisor / Foreman to manage excavation grading and site development crews for high-profile residential commercial and infrastructure projects.

This role requires a confident leader with strong communication mental math and GPS system skills. You ll be supervising crews of 2 10 workers and ensuring work is completed safely efficiently and to spec. A can-do attitude practical decision-making and the ability to coordinate work on active sites are essential.

This may be a unionized position depending on the placement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily tasks for crews of 2 10 workers

  • Ensure work is completed to plan and on schedule

  • Read and interpret construction drawings and grading specs

  • Operate or supervise work using GPS grading systems (e.g. Trimble Topcon)

  • Liaise with project managers trades and inspectors as required

  • Maintain a safe efficient and organized job site

  • Perform and oversee layout excavation grading and cleanup as needed

  • Lead by example and maintain a solutions-oriented approach on site


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 5 years of experience in civil construction including excavation and grading

  • Experience supervising small- to medium-sized site crews

  • Comfortable using GPS grading systems

  • Strong mental math and decision-making skills

  • Ability to read construction blueprints and grading plans

  • Familiarity with site safety protocols and leadership best practices

  • Valid driver s license and reliable transportation preferred

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

  • Union experience is an asset but not required


Work Conditions:

This is a full-time position with standard hours Monday to Friday (40 hours/week). Overtime may be offered depending on project needs and is paid according to provincial labour laws. Sites are located across the GTA and surrounding areas. Reliable transportation is expected.
