Job Duties
Duties:
- Assist orthodontists in providing patient care and treatment Prepare patients for procedures and treatments
- - Take dental x-rays and accurate orthodontic records (photos and intraoral scans)
- - Assist with infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments
- - Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
- - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- - Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
- - Collaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure smooth workflow
Skills:
- - Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- - Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
- - Familiarity with orthodontic equipment and instruments
- - Ability to take dental X-rays and intraoral scans
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- - Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- - Basic knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and orthodontics
- - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Profile/Background:
- MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
- OA/RDA License by Dental Board
- An upbeat personality is a MUST.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Familiarity with dental terminology materials medications and instruments used during dental procedures.
Job Type:
- Part-time/Full-time available with travel to Montebello Eagle Rock Reseda
- $22.00-$30.00/Hr. DOE
- Monthly Bonus
