What You Will Do

  • Perform/Maintain factory process assessments (Cost Center Assessments Layered Process Assessments).
  • Organize/maintain Red Rack material (Control of Nonconforming material)
  • Assist in First Article Inspection tasks. (Attend Prove-in Data collections Balloon DWGs etc.)
  • Support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigation (screening photo documentation etc.)
  • Verify product and process compliance with respect to contractual technical industry AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and policies.
  • Assist in nonconforming material events and document support containment activity.
  • Review/maintain control plans and process paperwork work document change requests.
  • Gather data and escalate issue when processes deviate from allowable tolerances.
  • Ability to obtain Qualified Trainer status and assist in Inspection Training across value streams.
  • Audit operator inspection methodologies to maintain certified operator program.
  • Creates and delivers Quality Alerts to communicate site-wide issues impacting the production floor.
  • In addition to these responsibilities the OQT may be presented with opportunities to: build new and/or enhance existing Quality Management tools create and implement inspection training curriculum support company-wide or site-wide QMS initiatives and provide input on updates to QMS Policies & Procedures among other opportunities.
  • Other activities assigned by Management.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizensare authorized to access information under thisprogram/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills require minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Good communication skills (written/verbal) with an aptitude for conveying complex technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to accomplish common goals and provide status as needed.
  • Moderate experience with hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend parts list manufacturing drawings workmanship standards wiring diagrams or schematics engineering change notices manufacturing specifications and contractual requirements.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 50000 USD - 100000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
