Who are we looking for
Our Ontario Transportation Group is looking for aSenior Project Manager/ Project Director to join our growing Canadian Operations. The position can be located in any of ourWhitbyMarkhamMississaugaSt. Catharines orWaterloooffices.
Due to continuing growth in ourtransportation practice we are seeking a Senior Project Managerfor any of our GTA position will be integral in the development and growth of GHDs Transit / Rail practice
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Lead Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) androad and bridge projects for municipal clients as a Project Manager.
- Delivering GHDs projects to budget schedule and quality standards; provides overall supervision and project management leadership.
- Being proactive and responsive to Clients requests to go above and beyond in delivering client excellence.
- Monitors project schedules coordinates and maintains contact with sub-consultants Municipalities Utility companies Railway Owners and Operators and Clients and assists with contract administration as assigned.
- Teamwork in small and large teams. Owning the integration with other engineering disciplines engineers and design staff in the production of high-quality project deliverables.
- Supporting Business Development including capture planning and leading proposals.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the business development strategy for relevant clients including creating capture plans and enhancing client relationships
Candidate Qualifications:
- Ontario . designation required (or eligible)
- 15 years experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects including BRT
- Experience working with municipal transportation clients within the Greater Toronto Area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven track record to develop mentor and lead professional technical staff.
- Alternative delivery experience is an asset
