Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct performance evaluations in accordance with Veriforce NCCER ISNetworld or other OQ platforms.
- Validate that personnel performing covered tasks are properly qualified and authorized.
- Document and maintain records of evaluations certifications and expirations.
- Perform field audits to verify OQ compliance on active job sites.
- Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to schedule evaluations as needed.
- Administer both knowledge-based and hands-on practical testing for pipeline tasks. Submit and track qualification documentation through approved platforms.
- Stay up to date with client-specific OQ requirements and changing regulatory standards (DOT 49 CFR Part 192/195).
- Perform job site audits inspections and behavioral observations to ensure safe work practices.
- Enforce company HSE policies and federal/state regulations (OSHA Cal/OSHA etc.).
- Participate in and lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews and pre-task meetings.
- Support incident investigations root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.
- Train or coach field personnel on specific safety procedures including hazard communication confined space and hot work.
- Provide support during safety stand-downs or client audits.
- Distribute and explain PPE requirements safety data sheets (SDS) and emergency response procedures.
- Ensure subcontractors are aligned with company and client safety expectations.
Position Requirements:
- Prior experience in pipeline construction utility work or industrial safety.
- Certified Evaluator status through a recognized OQ platform (e.g. Veriforce NCCER).
OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training. - Valid Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential.
- Valid NACE Coating Inspector Level I certification.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and task procedures.
- Excellent communication documentation and leadership skills.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to remote job sites.

Compensation:$3550/week (Compensation will depend on qualifications and experience.)
