Work directly for our Long Island Based client that is a full service Manufacturer Distributor & Service comapny.
Summary - Outside Salesperson - MRO
Focusing on the MRO market guiding our customers through the selection of products and solutions including power distribution systems industrial controls PLCs pumps and other mechanical equipment.
Territory: Long Island NYC Westchester
Job Duties:
-Schedule outside appointments with existing customers to review applications requirements and uncover new opportunities daily
-Generate and develop new business to increase revenue through prospecting activities including cold calling
-Effectively liaison between the company and customers for all ongoing account management activities including; quotations pricing delivery technical support service and new product and promotional releases
-Establish and maintain up to date knowledge on new products procedures services and tools by successfully completing all training activities as needed
-Determine customer requirements in order to recommend specific products solutions or services
-Target Account Planning and Execution
-Prepare and execute effective sales presentations and demonstrations of products
-Annual sales forecast and execution
-Attend conferences and trade shows
Requirements:
-Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated sales success and technical knowledge of one or more of the following: industrial controls PLCs switchgear automation motors and pumps and mechanical applications products and services
-At least 2 years of business to business sales experience
-Desire to grow business through outside sales appointments
-Track record of success and achievement as a sales representative
-Consistently identify new sources of business
-Maintain high productivity and standards
-Strong negotiation and communication skills
-Strong technical aptitude of products
-Motivated to learn
-Commitment to quality
-Valid Drivers License
Salary Range - 65-95k base Commission
