Accounts Receivable Specialist - Kennesaw GA

TE Certified Electrical Plumbing Heating & Coolingis seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team where youll play a crucial role in keeping the financial pipelines flowing smoothly! This AR Specialist needs to be highly organized and experienced and will be responsible for helping process track and record payments accurately efficiently and timely. The AR Specialist will have a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions keeping us on track on time and on good terms with our valued partners. Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute invoices to customers
- Ensure accuracy of invoices and ensure invoices are sent promptly
- Submit invoices via customer portals
- Track invoice statuses and follow up on unpaid bills
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone email and mail.
- Reconcile customer accounts by comparing customer statements and ledger balances identifying discrepancies and resolving outstanding issues.
- Track aging reports and categorize overdue invoices by due dates.
- Assess the creditworthiness of customers review credit applications conduct credit checks and set credit limits to minimize payment risk.
- Set up and maintain customer accounts in the accounting system ensuring accurate records for transactions.
- Contribute to continual process improvement identification and procedures
- Assist with special accounting projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance preferred (not required). Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or related field(preferably in an Accounts Receivable setting)
- QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred.
- Service Titan experience preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and timeliness with tasks and assignments.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Well-organized and a self-starter.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Able to work independently and with a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
TE Certified is a residential home service business specializing in electrical plumbing and HVAC services and replacements. We service the metro Atlanta area and surrounding locations with branches in Roswell Lawrenceville and Kennesaw.
