    Paid leave Start Date ASAP Position Summary Glenbard Township High School District 87 is seeking a qualified candidtate with advance technical support knowlege of a variety of network protocols and standards. Candidates must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while adapting to a dynamic working environment. Professional in demeanor excellent verbal and written communication skills and relates well to other employees.
    Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • College Degree preferred
    • 3 years of experience in a related field
    • Desired certification includes; Apple A CCNA or Network . MacOS/iOs
    • Working knowledge of data network support proficient with a variety of technology devices and applications.
    • Well organized detail & customer service oriented & strong problem-solving skills required.
    • Professional in demeanor excellent verbal anld written communication skills and ability to relate well with employees staff and students in all situations.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not all Inclusive)
    • Assists with the completion of advanced technology servicerequests as assigned.
    • Assists with supporting and training other Technology Services staff.
    • Configures and maintains technology related hardware and software for use by the students teachers and administrative staff.
    • Assists with developing device configurations and establishing user guidelines.
    • Assists with maintaining an accurate inventory of technology devices and software.
    • Assists with the ongoing documentation and creation of procedural guides specialized building maps and standards related to using technology devices/systems.
    • Assists with problem-solving requests reported by students staff and team members.
    • Assists with identifying technology issues or concerns that need to be communicated with Technology Services Technicians and staff.
    • Uses initiative tact and judgment in the completion of administrative requests.
    • Responsible for assisting with Support Help Desk or Support Hotline.
    • Responsible for or assistwith supervising seasonal orpart-time workers.
    • Responsible for or assist with off-peak hour support projects as needed.
    • Will assist with seasonal tech operations administrativemeetings of special events.
    • May assist with the installation or maintenance of in-ceiling/wall data cables.
    • May be required to work on devices containng sensitive/confidential information.
    • Must be able to climb ladders and work on ceiling or wall-mounted devices.
    • Must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50lbs as needed
    • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor ordesignee.
    Knowledge and Skills
    • Ability to read analyze and interpret documents such as correspondence surveys and electronic media.
    • Ability to write professional communications.
    • Ability to represent information effectively and to respond to questions from individuals and groups.
    • Ability to establishand maintain effective working relationships with staff and community members
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writtren form
    • Ability to complete mathmatical operations and apply concepts of basic mathematics
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a varity of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to maintain current job skills as directed especially in technology-related activities.
    • Ability to perform essential duties withan awareness ofschool district requirements and School Board policies.

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. In additionthe ability to withstand long-term use of video display terminals (VDT) is required.
    • The employee may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds such as reference books.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
    • The pace of work tasks would be considered as fast.
    • Work is usually conducted at one job site however on occasion this employee will be required to attendmeetings conferences or workshops and events at other sites as assigned.
