About the Role:
As anEnrolled Nurse / Team Leader you will provide exceptional clinical care and leadership within our residential aged care home. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse youll administer care in line with each residents individual support plan and ensure clinical operations on your shift run smoothly.
You will lead a team of Personal Care Workers (Care Companions) guide best practices and support a safe respectful and empowering environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality person-centred care to residents
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with clinical requirements
- Supervise and support Care Companions to follow best practices
- Manage clinical documentation and resident care plans using eCase
- Coordinate shift activities review resident needs and prioritize care tasks
- Promote resident independence dignity and choice
- Communicate effectively with residents families and health professionals
- Uphold Olivets values: Compassion Kindness Respect Responsibility
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives
What Youll Need
Essential:
- Current AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed)
- Demonstrated experience or interest in aged care
- Excellent communication teamwork and problem-solving skills
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- Current medication administration competency
Desirable:
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role in aged care
- Completion of Certificate III in Aged Care or relevant health qualification
