KaylaTek has an exciting Desktop Support technician opportunity supporting the AFNCR IT contract at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB). This is a high visibility position supporting a premier Air Force contract.
Location: Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) Washington DC - 100% on site
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver high-quality customer service to personnel at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling while resolving IT hardware and software issues in a Windows 11 environment.
- Leverage advanced diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues ensuring seamless coordination between end-users and cross-functional work centers.
- Act as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution optimizing system performance and user satisfaction.
- Participate in the evaluation of system configuration and software.
- Coordinate with the Communication Focal Point Manager any outages or issues with equipment other than the typical desktop issues.
- IT Service Management through Remedy and ServiceNow.
- Experience with Remote Desktop BEL Manage and Bomgar.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a demonstrated ability to excel in fast-paced dynamic environments.
- Technically strong and able to make quick sound decisions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Information Systems or Computer Science
- Active Secret Clearance to start (no interims)
- Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Currently possess DoD IAT Level II certification SecurityCE or higher required at start.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting operations centers supporting 15000 or more customers integrating service providers for a blend of basic and premier customers.
