Hourly rate of $15.00 per hour OTE of $150000 The Account Executive at Nexio is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective inside sales strategies focusing on both inbound and outbound opportunities. This role requires excellence in remote selling techniques to convert qualified leads into successful merchant relationships. The position emphasizes achieving Net Revenue targets with particular focus on acquiring low-risk high-quality merchants and maximizing hardware sales opportunities. Responsibilities Sales Execution & Revenue Generation - Convert both inbound and outbound leads into successful merchant relationships
- Meet or exceed monthly Net Revenue quotas through effective lead management
Lead Management & Qualification - Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand merchant needs and requirements
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting in Salesforce
- Follow up promptly with all assigned leads to maximize conversion opportunities
Remote Sales Process - Execute effective virtual sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Utilize digital tools and platforms for remote customer engagement
- Follow structured sales methodologies to move opportunities through the pipeline
- Document all sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce
- Maintain high activity levels across key sales metrics
Merchant Risk Assessment - Understand and apply merchant underwriting requirements
- Ensure thorough documentation of merchant qualifications
- Collaborate with Risk team on merchant evaluations
Performance Management - Track and report on progress toward Net Revenue targets
- Participate in regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Maintain required activity levels for calls demos and proposals
- Achieve monthly quotas for both merchant acquisition
- Continuously improve through training and development programs
Qualifications - 2 years of inside sales experience preferably in payments fintech or SaaS
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience with virtual selling tools and technologies
- Strong understanding of sales metrics and performance tracking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales technology
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
