Job Description

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Operator who is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and energy systems and a willingness to develop skills in electrical and mechanical systems. In this role you will assist with various tasks related to the operation maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment used in our battery and energy technologies gaining valuable hands-on experience across both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in system assembly and installation of new systems prototypes pre-series and production units.
  • Set up and operate basic tools and machinery such as electrical testing equipment welding machines cutting tools and fabrication equipment under supervision.
  • Help with routine checks inspections basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following established safety procedures.
  • Work closely with senior team members to perform simple repairs and maintenance tasks ensuring all systems operate smoothly.
  • Continuously learn about energy technologies mechanical systems and electrical systems to enhance your hands-on skills.

Qualifications:

  • No prior specific experience required in electrical or mechanical systems but a keen interest in learning and developing technical skills is essential.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a technical hands-on role.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts or a technical background is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to improve processes.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision to complete tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical or vocational education in a related field (e.g. electrical mechanical or engineering technology).
  • Previous experience working in a technical environment or with machinery is a plus but not required.
