Position Purpose:
Supply Chain Technician is responsible for pulling and delivering supplies to clean utilities and patient rooms on a schedule as assigned. Most supply areas use a two bin Kanban system to ensure supplies are ordered and stored where they are used. They are responsible for ensuring the storage areas are neat tidy stocked and fully functioning. They work with and support Blue Bin stage operations team in the warehouse and support strider team moving supplies to specific locations.
What you will Do:
Counts pulls and fills linen requisitions using proper technology and process.
Completes and follow Kanban standard work for operating procedures #3000.
Replenishing Blue bin technology #3001 Blue bin Stage operation and #3002 The art of filling Blue bins.
Follows the empty Blue Bin returns process by pulling away all returns to original locations.
Demonstrates an understanding of how stage operation works and the Supply Tech 1 role in that operation.
Demonstrates teamwork/cooperation in providing services to direct/indirect customers.
Keeps Supervisor and team leads informed of pertinent information related to job duties and the completion of scheduled work pulling the andon when assistance is required.
Fosters an environment of PDCA in their daily work activities. Support of PEX activities and lean training.
Meets productivity /work standards while demonstrating competency in job skills and knowledge by completing scheduled work in allotted timeframe.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Experience:
Supply Chain experience preferred.
Special Skills Competencies and Aptitudes
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be dependable and able to work flexible hours
Must be able to plan and organize work duties and be alert to safety hazards.
Must be able to work with team to accomplish goals
Requires flexibility weekend and holiday shifts.
