Under the direction of the Operations Manager this position will be responsible for the management optimization and control of all packaging and related materials used in World Courier Argentinas operations. The role requires maintaining effective and continuous communication across all company departments to ensure optimal material supply while upholding all operational indicators.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of refurbishment-related activities for reusable packaging materials

• Responsible for the management of packaging storage spaces including identifying and implementing optimization opportunities

• Analysis and cost control for local purchases & intercompany charges

• Packaging positioning responding to operational demand

• Packaging Damage report

• Ensure proper use of current stock management system and tools to comply with operational KPIs.

• Maintain optimal stock levels to ensure material availability and avoid stock breakdown.

• Be involved in all purchase-related activities about packaging for Transport and Warehouse operation.

• Manage the qualification and re-qualification of packaging.

• Ensure that the warehouse remains clean and organized with updated stock positions and marks and packaging properly stored.

• Perform the cyclic stock count and monitor the flow of orders/receipt of materials.

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

• Develop new packaging solutions.

Education

• 3 - 5-years of experience in demand planning & stock management

• Higher education in Logistics Transport or Production Engineering

• Fluent or advanced English

Skills & Knowledge

• Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Excel Word Outlook) - advanced

• Strong ability with numbers calculations and analysis/interpretation of data for decision making.

• Planification & prioritization skills.

• Time management Interpersonal skills ability to connect and collaborate with other departments.

• Strong organizational and communication skills
