Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA) is a dynamic agency that focuses on providing sexual violence counselling and education services to Calgary and surrounding areas. Working at CCASA means joining a team of passionate hard-working professionals who are committed to providing a health society that is respectful open and inclusive. As a Sexual Violence Support Counsellor you will be part of the Crisis and Support team. The successful candidate will be a compassionate flexible and organized individual who is able to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team to provide crisis intervention information support advocacy and referrals both over the phone and in person to clients accessing CCASA services.
This is a full-time (35 hours/week) position reporting to the Crisis and Support Program Supervisor. If you have a great attitude and possess an anti-oppressive/feminist analysis of sexual violence this may be the job for you.

Qualifications of the successful applicant will include the following:
**This position is not remote and requires working from the office.
Successful applicants will be required to work some evenings and weekends.

at Starting salary is $52500 (salary will be commensurate with education and experience).
As a requirement of this position the successful candidate must satisfy and receive clear results for a Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Check.
