Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time inpatient Occupational Therapist to join our team! This is your opportunity to work in an acute inpatient setting at our La Crosse main hospital campus working with a wide range of patient acuities including pediatrics.
What Youll Do:
As an inpatient Occupational Therapist you will evaluate and provide treatment for individuals with disabilities injuries and disease using appropriate modalities and treatment techniques according to Wisconsin OT Standards of Practice. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in the areas of education and consultation regarding patient care needs in accordance with the vision and mission of Gundersen Health System to provide individualized intervention and education utilizing task analysis based on identified learning needs of the patient to ensure optimal patient care. Our current inpatient therapy team consists of 22 OTs 23 PTs 10 COTAs 15 PTAs 16 Rehabilitation Technicians and 5 scheduling specialists.
Whats Available:
Fulltime 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
Monday Friday day shifts with 1 weekend a month and 2 holidays a year
Starting salary of $70283 and up salary is commensurate with your years of work experience
Applicable weekend differential and holiday pay
What Youll Need:
Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
Wisconsin Occupational Therapy License
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Ideal candidate will have prior pediatric OT experience including pediatric-sensory feeding and ADLs
