DEPARTMENT:
Alfred Mental and Addictions Healthsits within the Division of Ambulatory Services & Mental Health at The Alfred. It comprises both adult and child & adolescent services and a research unit. There is an important relationship also with the aged mental health service at Caulfield General Medical Centre (CGMC).
POSITION:
The position is based at the Alfred Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit. We are seeking a patient centered occupational therapist to lead inpatient OT servicesnew and emerging program initiatives support the broader AMAH clinical Program with service growth/expansion; and be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of clinical occupational therapy services secondary consultation and education. The Occupational Therapy Team Leader is primarily responsible for the planning coordination and delivery of occupational therapy services and interventions provided to patients admitted to the acute psychiatry.
