Job Description

Director Outlet Stores
Location: New York Metro Area Miami or Orlando (Hybrid; regular travel and in-store presence required)
Reports To: VP Retail

Overview:

vineyard vines is seeking a results-driven Director Outlet Stores to lead and scale our Outlet channel across North America. This role will be responsible for the strategic direction financial performance and day-to-day operations of our growing Outlet fleet. The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical rigor field leadership experience and passion for the customer experience. They will oversee field teams drive consistent execution and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that our outlet stores deliver on brand experience and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the Outlet channel ensuring alignment with brand objectives and financial targets

  • Lead and mentor a team of multi-unit field leaders (such as Regional or Area Managers) to drive operational excellence and talent development

  • Own top-line sales margin and EBITDA performance across the outlet fleet

  • Set and monitor KPIs ensuring stores deliver exceptional service and operational consistency

  • Collaborate with Planning Allocation and Merchandising teams to optimize product assortment inventory levels and markdown strategies

  • Partner with Store Design and Visual Merchandising on outlet-specific concepts layouts and seasonal visual direction

  • Serve as the key voice of the field in strategic cross-functional meetings and initiatives

  • Evaluate store performance and make data-driven recommendations around staffing scheduling and labor optimization

  • Lead seasonal planning processes and contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting

  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to attract develop and retain high-performing teams

  • Maintain a focus on continuous improvement and innovation within the Outlet experience
    Conduct regular market visits to assess store execution customer experience and team engagement

What Youl Bring:

  • 10 or more years of progressive retail leadership experience including multi-unit field management and outlet-specific experience

  • Demonstrated success driving sales profitability and team performance across a large store fleet

  • Proven ability to think both strategically and operationally

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across levels and functions

  • Strong financial acumen and comfort with P&L ownership

  • Willingness to travel regularly for market visits
