Pattern Master is a skilled professional who translates design ideas into accurate and detailed patterns used for garment production. They create patterns for various garment styles and sizes ensuring they meet design specifications and are suitable for manufacturing. This involves interpreting sketches working with designers and adapting patterns for different sizes and fabric types.
Key Responsibilities:
Pattern Creation: Develops patterns for various garment styles and sizes often using CAD software.
Design Interpretation: Reads and interprets design sketches and instructions.
Pattern Modification: Adjusts patterns to fit different sizes and garment types.
Collaboration: Works closely with designers production teams and other stakeholders.
Technical Documentation: Creates and maintains detailed documentation for patterns.
