JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager
Industry: Health/Disability Care
Employment Type: 30 hours to start then will transition to full time
Rate: 10AUD/hour plus commissions
***Commission details will be provided by the client once hired.
Purpose: The position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities in order to generate revenue improve profitability and help the business grow. It also includes careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets or enhancing the operation of the business position or reputation in some way. They will help the company to expand their clientele and will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. Their goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
Must have a relevant experience as Business Development Manager
Must have the tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people both internally and externally as well as presentation skills IT skills including the use of spreadsheets
Team Working skills and a collaborative approach to work
Decision-making skills
The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload
Project management and organisational skills
The ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals
Negotiating skills
The ability to think strategically
The ability to analyse sales figures and write reports
A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced ever-changing environment
Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch.
Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and participants NDIS plans is a PLUS
Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and identify new business opportunities - including growth areas trends customers partnerships - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Generate leads and cold call support coordinators
Foster and develop relationships with support coordinators direct them to a landing page detailing our complete list of services - the aim is to have them refer participants to us
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
Other administrative tasks e.g. email and calendar management
