Job Description
At Right at Home of Salt Lake we are committed to supporting our vulnerable population of seniors and adults with disabilities. We provide essential in-home care services and are currently seeking caring patient and responsible for a specific position as a solo Live in Caregiver to live with a Client in the Salt Lake area.
Right at Home has a unique opportunity for a dedicated permanent caregiver. This role differs from a traditional live-in position in several ways:
- Direct Arrangements: You will make all arrangements directly with the family
- This is a Solo Position - You will be the only caregiver living with the client with some oversight with Right at Home
- Full-Time Residence: You will live full-time at the clients apartment 24/7
- Scheduled Coverage: You will have 2 overnight shifts covered during the weekdays each month and 2 days during the week covered for about 12 hours. Take breaks up to 2-3 hours outside of the home.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Free rent
- Salary of approximately $700 per week
- Provided with all needed PPE
- 24-hour on-call line for client questions
Responsibilities:
At Right at Home SLC we are currently seeking a dedicated permanent Live-in Caregiver who will provide invaluable 1:1 in-home care service. In this role you will engage with the client through companionship and conversation ensuring their emotional well-being. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene offering occasional transportation and performing essential housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Meal preparations will also be part of your duties as youll provide nutritious options tailored to individual dietary needs. Additionally youll help clients manage their health with timely medication reminders.
Transfer roll or move the client who is over 200 lbs and use or train to use a Hoyer lift.
Requirements:
