Were looking for a Machine Learning Engineer (all) with strong expertise in Automatic Speech Recognition to join our AI team to help advance the future of healthcare. You will work on speech recognition systems that power real-world applications used by clinicians every day.
This position can either be hybrid in Luxembourg or Berlin. Please only apply if you would relocate or commute to Luxembourg.
Tasks
- Fine-tune evaluate and deploy state-of-the-art models in speech recognition and audio processing
- Collect and curate custom ASR datasets including data sourcing annotation pipeline setup quality control and alignment/segmentation procedures
- Work with MLOPs team to ensure continuous training for models on production
- Design and conduct experiments to validate new approaches datasets and architectures
- Build and maintain data pipelines and audio preprocessing workflows
- Collaborate closely with product managers researchers and developers to translate the solutions into production.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience
- Typically 5-8 years of experience in ML engineering or related fields
- Strong programming skills in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch TensorFlow)
- Experience with deep learning models including transformers
- Experience with MLOps pipeline (Docker MLflow W&B DVC Kubernetes)
Nice to Have:
- Direct experience with ASR models (e.g. Whisper wav2vec HuBERT) and speech/audio processing pipelines
- Knowledge of multilingual or domain-specific speech modeling (medical/ legal and other specialized fields)
- Experience with distributed training systems
