JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Abington seeks engaging and dynamic candidate to fill a newly created opening of Professional Math Tutor. This opening will work in the Chaiken Center for Student Success to provide tutoring in Math (Algebra Trigonometry Geometry Calculus Statistics) to undergraduate university students. The tutor will also develop workshops structured academic initiatives as well as other collaborative opportunities that engage faculty student organizations and other members of the campus community.The Professional Tutor will interact with faculty and staff to promote the services of the Chaiken Center and to ensure that tutoring services align with the course objectives. The Professional Tutor will be responsible for maintaining a record for each student tutored e.g. Starfish Outcome Notes Client Report Forms Satisfaction Surveys etc.
