Job Description
Job Title: Line Cook
Location: Red Bicycle Germantown
Job Type: about 30 hrs weekly
Pay: $15-17/hr based on experience
Job Summary:
Were looking for a reliable hard-working Line Cook to join our kitchen team! Youll be responsible for preparing quality food in a fast-paced environment maintaining cleanliness and organization and supporting smooth kitchen operations during service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe standards with consistency and care
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Ensure food is cooked and presented properly and safely
- Maintain a clean organized and sanitary workspace
- Follow health and safety guidelines including food handling and storage
- Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely ticket execution
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house and other kitchen staff
- Assist with prep work cleaning duties and inventory as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but willing to train the right person
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability on weekends and holidays is a plus
