DescriptionPurpose
Coordination of tasks which are handled within the IT Helpdesk and IT field engineering scope of the European IT domain and assigning those to the appropriate technical professional or service personnel.
Working hours:
Regular office hours Monday Friday Onsite
Now and then planned/unplanned outside office hours support is required at different office locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Executing white glove tasks for Sr Management
- Relocation of desktop computers monitors peripherals
- Physically assisting remote server and network teams with onsite support in Data Centers IDF / Comms rooms
- Support for severity 1 and 2 escalations related to onsite issues
- Project based IT activities
- Remote IT Support as part of the 1st/2nd level virtual service desk team
- Platform support/SME as part of a virtual global IT team
- Use of Microsoft Intune
- Support IT audits related to daily work activities
- Work with IT Ticketing platform
- Assist with server decommissioning and removal tasks
- Document IT procedures
General:
- IT Desktop coordination of profiles and procedure standardization
- PC user support
- Receives and prioritizes issues and forwards these using appropriate escalation procedures
- Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to personal computers
- Provides technical on-site maintenance and support for new and existing systems
- Troubleshoots via the phone hardware software and network operating problems and involves technical resources to ensure resolution
- Identifies investigates and researches user questions and problems as well as isolating and resolving information systems problems
- Collaboration with other IT department branches from Europe and/or Global
- This job may include any aspect of on-site support and is not limited to system hardware and software PCs and IP networking
We are looking for candidates with:
- English language skills oral and written
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server environment and Active Directory structure
- Experience with End-User IT support
- Understanding and knowledge of information systems products and services to assist users
- Ability to self-organized work based on priority within a small group of team members
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11
