Compensation:

$5500-$7000 / season based on experience.

Position Overview:

Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Varsity Boys and Girls Head Tennis Coach for the 2025-2026 Spring Season. Applicants with previous coaching experience at the HS level 21 years or older possessing a valid Washington State drivers license with a CDL endorsement and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification are preferred. This position reports to the Athletic Director.

Varsity Boys and Girls Tennis is a Spring season runs fromMarch 2 2026 through May 23 2026.

Responsibilities:

Compliance with all Bishop Blanchet HS Metro League and WIAA policies and procedures.
Maintain a good relationship with Seattle Parks to ensure facility permits are maintained.
Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities including practices and matches. Coaches need to be available between the hours of 3pm-7pm during the season as well as weekends for invitationals.
Design and implement proper training programs during the spring to meet the needs of each student-athlete.
Effective communication with players coaching colleagues and parents.
Promotion of sportsmanship camaraderie and fair play among team members.
Motivate and encourage players individual progress with an emphasis on promoting teamwork and strategic development.
Manage coaching staff.
Manage the yearly tennis budget.
