Primary Duties (in part)
Due to the nature of this position the required work hours are 8 a.m. 5 p.m. in office Monday through Friday with an hour scheduled for lunch. This position does not offer hybrid/remote work.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required).
Compare and evaluate data (address employer SSN date of birth child support order amounts beneficiaries etc.) on computerized child support records with other documents referrals or computerized case records and add delete or change information to maintain current and complete child support case records.
Monitor determine and take corrective action on assigned child support in the legal or locate functions to ensure compliance with time frames and regulations.
Type a variety of legal forms from legal referrals on a production basis. Determine which form and proper formats are appropriate using standard quality control instructional worksheets and referrals. Type all necessary documents using typewritten standardized forms word processing forms and a data input forms program.
Receive and respond to inquiries about the Oregon Child Support Program or cases and direct inquiries (callers or visitors) or provide information or service as appropriate.
Read and sort team or unit incoming mail. Update child support records take appropriate action if any or distribute.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience

One year of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding word processing or other experience generating documents.
OR
An equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.
Work experienceis based on a 40-hour work week. (Example: 20 hours a week for one year would equal six-months of work experience.)
AND
Finalists must pass a comprehensive employment reference check and fingerprint-based criminal background check. A driver history check will be included for positions requiring state vehicle driving findings will be evaluated to determine eligibility for the position.
