Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide information technology support services to the MTSU community including faculty staff students and visitors. Diagnose analyze and troubleshoot systems and equipment either onsite or remotely. Respond to and close out work order requests.
Required Education
Bachelors degree preferably in Information Technology Computer Science or other related technology field.
Required Related Experience
Three years of experience supporting information technology systems in a medium to large organization. NOTE: A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification may be considered in lieu of two years of full-time related experience.
Desirable Related Experience
One year of extensive experience with the installation maintenance administration and troubleshooting of networks and network management systems preferably in a medium to large higher education institution.
